Arriving in Fuschl am See means: a stunning view of the Lake Fuschl and the surrounding mountains. A warm and friendly welcome. Take a deep breath and relax you’ve made it to one of the most beautiful areas in Austria, the Salzkammergut Lake District. Enjoy the rural peace and tranquillity on the shores of Lake Fuschl or the many landmarks in the cultural City of Salzburg – just a half an hour away with its sights, wide range of theatres and concerts and the Hohensalzburg fortress. The Salzkammergut Lake District offers a whole host of excursion destinations and day trips: there’s bound to be something that interests you!
Rooms at the Hotel Mohrenwirt
Regardless of whether you are travelling as a single, a couple or as a family, you can choose the type of room to suite your needs. All 59 hotel rooms have a shower or bath and WC, hairdryer and cosmetic tissues, an umbrella, direct-dial telephone, cable TV, DVD player, radio, broadband internet (small charge) and are all modern and spacious. Most rooms have a balcony with an unforgettable view of Lake Fuschl or of the surrounding forests, meadows and the local mountain the “Schober”.
Numerous DVDs are available for viewing free of charge. A Play Station 2 with a variety of exciting games and an I-Pod Docking Station with speakers can also be borrowed! We are happy to bring you an iron and ironing board to you room if required.
A play room, a small playground in the garden and our family rooms with bunk beds or double rooms with connecting doors mean that families can relax and enjoy their stay to the full!

Reference to the Salzkammergut Lake District is found in many works and it has been an inspiration to many authors who stayed or still stay here. Perhaps you’ll find time and pleasure in reading one of these books during your stay! In this way the book shelves thrive and there’s always something new to discover!
