The front door of the Hotel Mohrenwirt opens out on to the hustle and bustle of village life… however behind the hotel, if you cross the babbling stream which flows undeterred to Lake Fuschl, you’ll find a small piece of paradise, our orchard garden. In the shade of aged fruit trees or on the sunny lawns you will find a peaceful sanctuary at the foot of “our mountain” the Schober.
The wind rustles quietly through the leaves of the trees, the bees hum and somewhere far off you hear children’s laughter. A mild breeze brings fresh air from the lake. You are gently woken by the ringing of church bells. Yes, that’s what a holiday in Fuschl feels like!
In summer the lawns of the orchard garden become a meeting point. Once a week, weather permitting, Mohrenwirt guests are treated to an unforgettable evening. As part of the Mohren-Halfboard delicious Bar-B-Q specialities are conjured up by our chefs!
These quiet lawns have been witness to weddings, christenings and family celebrations and could certainly tell our guests a few tales….
